Healthy Working UK now has a new look and updated resources.

The Healthy Working UK website provides GPs and other healthcare professionals with timely access to information, training and decision aids to support the management of health and work.

Recent additions to the website include:

~ Health e-Working Primary Care: Six half hour e-modules accredited by the RCGP

covering health and work topics designed to support healthcare professionals in their everyday practice.

~ Health e-Working Secondary Care: Six short scenario-based e-learning units illustrate how work and health issues can be incorporated into the daily management of patients. This e-learning is designed for all hospital practitioners and was built in collaboration with the Colleges and specialty societies. Completion of each unit can be used towards CPD and appraisal.

~ Fit for Work Decision Aid: Now available as a downloadable app. This decision aid assists healthcare practitioners in assessing patients' fitness for work as well as advising on

how to complete the fit note.

~ Fit Note Guide: Designed to help primary care professionals provide more information to their patients and employers about the functional effects of their condition. This new quick guide shows how to complete the fit note using examples.
