Essential Knowledge Updates

Essential Knowledge Updates are six-monthly updates on selected items of new and changing knowledge central to everyday practice. Each Update summarises the latest information, suggests ways that you can improve your practice and helps you capture any learning needs in your personal development plan- and you can access further reading if you want to find out more.

Essential Knowledge Challenges

Six months after each Update is released, an Essential Knowledge Challenge is added- an online assessment that tests your understanding of the Update. You can take the Challenge as many times as you need until you pass and will then be able to download a certificate as evidence of your CPD credits. Once each Challenge has been running for six months, the answers are made available.
